What is AR Glass
Anti-reflective glass is a kind of float glass with an optically
interference coated on one or two sides to eliminate reflections
and increase the light transmission. AR glass is also known as
anti-coating glass or low reflective glass which is manufactured
through coating two reflective layers . The max transmittance can
be up to 98%.
The purpose of an anti-reflective (AR) coating is to reduce these
reflections off the lenses. ... When applied in a thickness of
about a quarter of light's wavelength, the two reflections from
each side of the film basically cancel each other out through
destructive interference, minimizing the glare you see.
