What is Tempered Glass Panels:
Tempered glass refers to glass that has a compressive stress layer
formed on the surface of the glass after the treatment process.
Tempered glass is actually a kind of prestressed glass. In order to
improve the strength of glass, chemical and physical processes are
usually used to form a compressive stress layer on the surface of
the glass. When the glass is subjected to external forces, the
stress on the surface is first offset, thereby improving the
bearing capacity. Enhance the mechanical strength and thermal shock
resistance of the glass itself, and has a special fragment state,
which will reduce the harmful to human when the tempered glass is
broken.
Advantage of Tempered Glass Panels:
1. Strength improvement: The mechanical strength, impact resistance
and bending strength of tempered glass can reach 4 to 5 times that
of ordinary glass.
2. Improved thermal stability: Tempered glass can withstand huge
temperature differences without being damaged, and its resistance
to temperature differences is 3 times that of ordinary float glass
of the same thickness.
3. Improved safety: After the toughened glass is damaged by a
strong force, tiny obtuse-angle particles will appear quickly,
thereby ensuring personal safety to the greatest extent.
